1. Who We Are
GetPCFixed is a PC diagnostic and repair software application developed and distributed by GetPCFixed ("we," "us," or "our"). The software is available at getpcfixed.com and getpcfixed.app.
2. What GetPCFixed Does
GetPCFixed is a diagnostic and repair tool designed to help everyday Windows users identify and resolve common PC problems. The software:
- Scans your system for common performance issues
- Provides AI-assisted diagnosis and plain-English explanations
- Suggests fixes and applies them only with your explicit permission
- Logs every change made and allows you to undo any action
3. No Warranty — Use at Your Own Risk
GetPCFixed is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of any kind, either express or implied. We make no warranties that:
- The software will meet your specific requirements
- The software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or secure
- Any diagnosis or recommended fix will resolve your issue
- Results will be accurate, complete, or current for your specific hardware and configuration
Every PC is different. Hardware conditions, third-party software, Windows configurations, and existing system damage can all affect outcomes. GetPCFixed diagnoses and suggests — but we cannot guarantee a specific result on every machine.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GetPCFixed and its developers, owners, and affiliates shall not be liable for any damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the software, including but not limited to:
- Hardware failure, damage, or malfunction of any kind
- Data loss, corruption, or inability to recover files
- System instability, crashes, or blue screens
- Loss of business, revenue, or productivity
- Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
In plain English: GetPCFixed is a tool to help you fix your computer. We always ask before making any changes. But computers are complex, and pre-existing issues can surface during any repair process. We are not responsible for hardware failures, data loss, or damage that occurs during or after use of this software. Always back up your data before running any repair tool — including ours.
5. Your Responsibility
By using GetPCFixed you agree that:
- You are the owner of the computer or have explicit permission from the owner to use this software on it
- You will back up important data before approving any system changes
- You understand that you are approving each fix and accept responsibility for that decision
- You will not use GetPCFixed to diagnose or repair systems you do not own or have permission to access
6. Privacy
GetPCFixed collects only the system diagnostic information necessary to provide its service. We do not sell your data. We do not collect personally identifiable information without your consent. System scan data used for AI diagnosis is processed securely and is not stored beyond the active session unless you explicitly enable fix history logging.
7. Updates and Changes
We may update GetPCFixed from time to time to improve performance, add features, or address security issues. We may also update these Terms of Service. Continued use of the software after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will always post the updated date at the top of this page.
8. Third-Party Services
GetPCFixed uses the Anthropic Claude API to power its AI diagnosis engine. By using GetPCFixed, you acknowledge that AI-generated diagnostics are suggestions, not guarantees. Anthropic's own terms and policies apply to the processing of prompts sent through their API.
9. Prohibited Use
You may not use GetPCFixed to:
- Diagnose, access, or repair computers you do not own or have permission to access
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the software
- Use the software for any unlawful purpose
- Redistribute or resell the software without written permission
10. Termination
You may stop using GetPCFixed at any time by uninstalling it. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the software at our discretion, particularly in cases of misuse or violation of these terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
